What is Begegnungen mit dem Anderen – das Konfessionskundliche Institut Bensheim wird 75 Jahre about?
In this article, we will first take a look at the history and development of the Konfessionskundliches Institut ("Institute for Confessional Studies") from 1947 to the present day. Whereas the Roman Catholic Church in Germany and Europe was the main focus of its work in its first years and decades, the tasks became more and more diversified from the second half of the sixties onward. In a second part, the methods of confessional studies are examined and an explanation is provided for how this work is done methodically today.
