About this document

Gossamer Condor Design Overview by api-529776591 is a document available to read on EtoBox.

The Gossamer Condor was designed by Paul Mcrady to win a contest by building a man-powered airplane. His design statement was that tripling the surface area while keeping weight the same would allow flight with 1/3 the horsepower normally required. The major constraint was that the power required to lift the plane must be less than or equal to the amount of power a man can produce.
