A study conducted at the Tabriz Hematology and Oncology Center evaluated the effects of music therapy on pain and anxiety in 100 patients undergoing bone marrow biopsy and aspiration. Results indicated that patients who listened to music during the procedure reported significantly lower levels of pain and anxiety compared to those who did not. The findings suggest that music therapy is an effective, safe, and noninvasive intervention for reducing discomfort in such medical procedures.
