What is Profile of Oral Cancer Patients about?

This study examined the profiles of 100 patients with oral cancer in India. The majority of patients were males between 40-59 years old who used smokeless tobacco. Nearly all patients (97%) had squamous cell carcinoma, most commonly in the tongue. Over 80% of patients presented with oral cancer that had been present for 6 months or less. The study analyzed patient characteristics like age, sex, habits, cancer type and duration of symptoms to better understand the demographics of oral cancer in this patient
