This document summarizes direct measurements of the heat of substitutive chlorination (R.H + Cl2 -> RCl + HCl) for several hydrocarbons and chloro-derivatives. Heats of formation are derived for some chlorinated compounds. The heat of additive chlorination is also determined for some chloroethylenes. The results agree with calculated values from recently published heats of combustion.
