Dew point is the temperature to which air must be cooled for water vapor to condense into liquid water. A paper published by Snyder and Shaw in 1984 provided guidance on converting between different measures of humidity using calculators and computers. The paper aimed to help farmers and agricultural workers better understand dew point and its relationship to other humidity measures like relative humidity.
