What is Carrot Callus Culture Procedure about?

This experiment aims to perform callus culture from carrot roots. Carrot roots are surface sterilized and explants are placed on MS media supplemented with growth hormones. Successful callus culture requires aseptic conditions, a nutrient medium with appropriate hormones, and incubation under controlled physical conditions. After 4 weeks, substantial callus mass had formed and was divided and transferred to fresh media to produce more callus tissue.
