We study properties of a charge qubit consisting of a Josephson double junction closed by an inductive loop. Within a twoband model, we derive current-phase relationships for the incorporated Cooper pair transistor and critical loop parameters. Introducing kinetic band inductances, we propose an opportunity for a macroscopic quantum coherence experiment.
