The State Bank of Pakistan has relaunched an SMS service to issue fresh currency notes to the public. Citizens can send an SMS with their CNIC number and desired bank branch ID to receive a redemption code via SMS, which is valid for two days to exchange at the branch for fresh notes. Fresh notes will be available at 1702 designated commercial bank branches and 16 SBP field offices nationwide until May 31st.
