The Bar Council of West Bengal has rescheduled the elections for the 12th Bar Council from March 5-6, 2026, to March 9-10, 2026, due to concerns about police availability during the Holi celebrations. Additionally, the voting hours have been extended from 10 am to 5 pm to 10 am to 6 pm to accommodate the increased number of voters.
