This study analyzed the Prakriti (constitutional type) of 115 COVID-19 patients in Delhi, India using a validated assessment scale. The most common Prakriti types were: 1) Vata-Kapha (27% of patients) 2) Pitta-Kapha (21% of patients) 3) Kapha (20% of patients) The results suggest that individuals with Vata-Kapha, Pitta-Kapha or Kapha-dominant Prakriti may be more susceptible to COVID-19.
