What is Understanding UK School Life about?

Children in England attend primary school from ages 5-11 and secondary school from ages 11-16 or 18. Schooling is divided into three terms with holidays in between: Michaelmas term (September to December), Lent term (January to Easter), and Summer term (Easter to July). There are also mid-term breaks within each term and a longer summer holiday from July to September.
