What is Proof of God about?

Descartes outlines his principle of predication which states that whatever is clearly and distinctly perceived to belong to the true and immutable nature of a thing may be predicated of it with certainty. He applies this first to geometry, stating that it can be predicated of a triangle with certainty that the sum of its interior angles equals two right angles. He then applies it to God, stating that necessary existence is a perfection of a supremely perfect being, and therefore it can be predicated of God
