If I can trust my Google Translate, this is a spoof of a murder mystery. That isn't surprising seeing as this looks like the cover to a pulp fiction novel. Basically it's the story of a hapless hitman. He kills the wrong man and falls for the right woman. Other things happen, but since this is all in German, I don't know what those things are. The title Schund roman actually translates to "trashy novel." The fact that "Unabridged Original Version!" is emblazoned in yellow across the front makes me think that Bodo has an excellent sense of humor, since as far as I can tell, this is a first printing.
