What is Construction of Double S‐Scheme ZIF‐67@GDY/CuI Heterojunction by Graphdiyne (g‐CnH2n−2) Nanosheets‐Coated ZIF‐67 on Synergized Charge Transfer for Enhanced Photocatalytic Hydrogen Evolution about?
In response to national emission peak and carbon neutrality policies, carbon substitution as an effective scientific approach has attracted more and more attention. Among them, photocatalytic hydrogen evolution technology has proved to be an efficient and cheap alternative to fossil fuels, converting solar energy into chemical energy to release H 2 . Many researchers have devoted a great deal of effort to the research of high-performance, inexpensive, and durable photocatalysts such as ZnO, CdS, g-C 3 N 4 , MOFs, and graphdiyne . However, achieving practical energy conversion efficiency for photocatalytic hydrogen evolution still faces great challenges. Metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) are composed of metal-containing clusters and organic building blocks that are diverse in morphology and function. Among many MOFs materials, ZIF-67 (zeolite imidazolate skeleton) is a highly crystalline porous semiconductor material, which is assembled with divalent metal cobalt ion as the central atom and 2-methylimidazole as the organic ligand. It has become one of the most promising catalysts due to its excellent characteristics, such as suitable bandgap, large specific surface area, and controlla
