The study analyzed the relationship between ceramic inlay thickness and fracture risk using finite element modeling. Fourteen inlay models with thicknesses ranging from 0.7-2.0 mm were generated for a mandibular molar. The inlays were made of either e.max1 or empress1 ceramic.
