This study evaluates the feasibility and safety of a 5G-based remote magnetically controlled capsule endoscopy (MCE) system for gastrointestinal examinations. Results showed a 100% complete visualization rate for both stomach and small bowel in remote and conventional MCE groups, with no adverse events reported. The findings suggest that remote MCE is a viable method for improving access to GI diagnostics, particularly in remote areas.
