What is Rajasthan Work-Charged Pay Rules Update about?

The Government of Rajasthan has amended the Rajasthan Work-charged Employees (Revised Pay) Rules, 2017, changing the effective dates for pay adjustments from October 2017 to January 2016. New rules state that no arrears will accrue for work-charged employees up to December 2016, and arrears from January 2017 to September 2017 will be paid in three installments starting in April 2018. The revised pay and allowances will be effective from October 2017, with payments made in November 2017.
