Can I read Design of a Label-free Photonic Crystal Refractive Index Sensor for Biomedical Applications on EtoBox?

Design of a Label-free Photonic Crystal Refractive Index Sensor for Biomedical Applications by Mohammad Danaie; Behnam Kiani is a Engineering article available to read on EtoBox.

What is Design of a Label-free Photonic Crystal Refractive Index Sensor for Biomedical Applications about?

Two photonic crystal optical sensor topologies for detection of refractive index are proposed here. ##  The sensors can be used for detection of basal cell cancer. ##  The sensor topologies are based on a photonic crystal ring-shaped resonator coupled to waveguides  A 13nm cavity resonance frequency shift for normal and cancer cells is obtained. ##  Instead of using ultra-high quality factor cavities for improving the sensitivity, the resonance profile is localized and concentrated on the analyte to achieve good distinction. ##  The proposed sensors have sensitivities equal to 720 and 630 nm/RIU respectively.
