To reset the E34 service indicator light: 1. Turn off the ignition. 2. Short pins 7 and 19 on the diagnostic socket with a fused jumper wire for 4 seconds to reset the service light or 15 seconds to reset the inspection light. 3. Remove the wire and replace the diagnostic socket cap before turning off the ignition again.
