This study assessed the knowledge, attitude, and perceived practice of nurses regarding catheter-associated urinary tract infection (CAUTI) prevention in a Malaysian tertiary hospital. Results indicated that nurses had good knowledge and positive attitudes towards CAUTI prevention, with older and more experienced nurses demonstrating higher knowledge levels. The study concluded that fostering a positive attitude among nurses is crucial for improving CAUTI prevention practices.
