This document describes a study of the stability constants of complexes formed between the drug cimetidine and nickel(II) ions at different temperatures. The study was conducted spectrophotometrically and found that cimetidine and nickel(II) ions form a complex with a 1:2 molar ratio. The stability constants of the complex were calculated to be between 1.40–2.4 × 108 at 25 °C and 1.24–2.4 × 108 at 40 °C using two different methods.
