The SICAM A8000 rack solution offers the benefits of the proven SICAM AK 3 platform combined with the latest SICAM A8000 platform. It allows for a high density of signals and a small footprint, enabling many signals to be connected. Existing SICAM AK I/O modules can be easily migrated to the SICAM A8000 rack solution using interfacing modules and connected to a SICAM A8000 CP-8050 unit. The rack solution is also compatible with various SICAM AK I/O modules and supports legacy modules remaining in operation.
