The Khajuraho Group of Monuments is located in Madhya Pradesh, India and contains the largest group of medieval Hindu and Jain temples famous for their erotic sculptures. The temples were built over 200 years between 950-1150 CE by the Chandela dynasty rulers and originally there were over 80 temples, but now only 25 remain. The temples feature intricate carvings depicting everyday life as well as some erotic scenes, and the complex has been recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
