The lesson plan aims to teach students about threats to biodiversity by having them understand and recall the HI! anagram which represents major threats (Habitat loss, Invasive species, and over-exploitation), give examples of each threat, and apply their knowledge to real case studies by thinking of preventative measures. The starter activity will have students discuss what biodiversity is and why it is important, followed by the main learning activities where the teacher will introduce and explain the HI!
