This study examined the effect of azolla on the survival of transplanted rice (TPR) and direct-seeded rice (DSR) seedlings under different densities of invasive apple snails and water depths. The study found that TPR survival ranged from 43-65.6% without azolla and 84-94.8% with azolla. DSR survival ranged from 0-3.8% without azolla and 7.4-26.8% with azolla.
