About this document
Dystocia in Buffalo: Emphysematous Fetus by stiven is a document available to read on EtoBox.
This document describes a case study of dystocia in a buffalo due to an emphysematous fetus in an abnormal position. A 7-year-old buffalo presented with dystocia for 2 days, and upon examination a dead, foul-smelling fetus was found with emphysema in an anterior longitudinal position with its head laterally deviated to the left. A laparohysterotomy procedure was performed to remove the fetus. Following the surgery, the buffalo was treated with antibiotics and recovered uneventfully.
