Can I read NPSHHHH on EtoBox?
NPSHHHH by Mumtaz Ahmed Ghumman is a document available to read on EtoBox.
What is NPSHHHH about?
Slurry starts at higher suction pressure than on water. Hs is the static head on the pump suction above the pump centerline minus all friction head losses. Pressure drops occur due to losses in piping and local flow acceleration at the impeller inlet. The available energy that can be utilized to get the liquid through the suction piping and into the impeller is the total suction head less the vapor pressure of the liquid at the pumping temperature.
