Janko Veselinovi} was a Serbian writer and teacher born in 1862 in Svilajnac, Serbia. He studied in Glogovac and became a teacher there in 1878. He later studied and graduated from the Great School in Belgrade in 1881. Janko worked as a teacher in Svilajnac from 1881 until 1888, where he published many of his works. He was influential in developing the literary culture of Svilajnac during this time. Janko Veselinovi} died in 1905 in Belgrade.
