About this document
Second Chorus of Atalanta in Calydon by OCorpoNegro is a document available to read on EtoBox.
This poem describes the creation of humanity by the gods. In three sentences: The gods crafted humanity with both joy and sorrow, giving tears and laughter, pleasure with pain, and life as well as its shadow, death. They filled man with senses, speech, labor and thought, and allowed both good and evil. Though brief, humanity was made beautiful and given light to see its way, if only for a short time between an endless sleep.
