About this document
Amikacin Levels in Sepsis Patients by AISY PRITA SYAFINA 1 is a document available to read on EtoBox.
This study evaluates the optimal amikacin levels in septic patients in the ICU at Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital, Jakarta. The results indicate that while the average peak concentration (Cmax) achieved was 86.4 µg/mL, only 4 out of 7 patients reached the optimal Cmax/MIC ratio of >8, highlighting variability in drug levels despite high Cmax. The findings suggest the importance of measuring both Cmax and MIC to optimize antibiotic therapy in septic patients.
