This document describes an experimental study on the vibration isolation performance of weft-knitted spacer fabrics. Two weft-knitted spacer fabrics with different thicknesses were designed and fabricated by varying the linking distance of the spacer monofilaments. Their vibration isolation performance was then tested under forced harmonic excitation. The results showed that the thicker spacer fabric had a lower resonance frequency and better vibration isolation at lower frequencies due to its lower stiffne
