What is Antineoplastics: Lack of efficacy: case report about?
## Lack of efficacy: case report A 6-year-old girl exhibited a lack of efficacy during treatment with inotuzumab-ozogamicin, clofarabine, tisagenlecleucel and blinatumomab for B-cell precursor acute lymphoblastic leukaemia [BCP-ALL; routes and dosages not stated]. The girl was admitted with a high fever and severe pain in the lower limbs. Upon admission, she was diagnosed with BCP-ALL. Also, fusion in PAX5::NOL4L4 and mutations in NRAS and KRAS gene were found. Initially, she received unspecified treatment with a good response. However, she had very early relapse. The genetic test revealed the same blast clone in relapse. She then started receiving cyclical blinatumomab. However, she exhibited lack of treatment effect during the cycle 1. Therefore, the girl received 3 doses of inotuzumab-ozogamicin as bridging therapy, followed by tisagenlecleucel on 19 July 2021. However, after about 2 months, she developed a CD19-negative relapse. She further received 2 doses of inotuzumab-ozogamicin. Also, she received clofarabine. However, her disease progressed despite attempts to cure with inotuzumab-ozogamicin and clofarabine. As a result of the progression, she died on 14 December 2021.
