Materials/Methods: From an IRB-approved institutional brain tumor database, we identified patients over the age of 70 from May 1979 until September 2007 with newly diagnosed GBM. Overall survival (OS) was the primary endpoint of this retrospective study. The log-rank test and Cox proportional hazards model were used to statistically analyze the data. Results: Two hundred and six patients over the age of 70 years were identified from the database. The median age was 75 years (range, 70-90). Patients had a wide variety of treatment modalities ranging from no treatment to combination surgery with chemoradiation with temozolomide.
