Community Emergency Response Teams (CERT) provide benefits to communities in Clinton County. CERT members receive training in first aid, search and rescue, disaster response, and hazard awareness to assist first responders during emergencies. The training prepares members to help victims in the first 72 hours after a disaster when emergency services may be overwhelmed. CERT members can support communities through events and by educating others on disaster preparedness.
