The Government of Andhra Pradesh has constituted an Expert Committee to review engineering projects and works in various departments. The 8-member committee, headed by the Chief Technical Examiner of the Water Resources Department, will examine projects with less than 25% progress and provide recommendations to improve transparency. The committee has 45 days to submit a comprehensive report on projects, tendering processes, estimates and other areas. It has the power to inspect sites and request information
