What is Ofz 132 about?

This study evaluates the accuracy of the lateral flow urine lipoarabinomannan (LF-LAM) assay for diagnosing active tuberculosis in Thai adults with advanced HIV infection. Among 280 participants, the LF-LAM test showed a sensitivity of 75.0% and specificity of 76.0%, with the highest sensitivity in patients with CD4 counts <50/μL. The findings suggest that the LF-LAM test is a useful diagnostic tool for active tuberculosis in this population.
