This document discusses seismic hazard maps for Israel that show the spectral acceleration at periods of 0.2 seconds and 1 second. These maps were developed using probabilistic seismic hazard analysis to estimate the earthquake ground motions with a 10% probability of exceedance in 50 years for sites underlain by rock with a shear wave velocity of 620 m/s. The maps were computed on a grid with spacing of about 2.2 km. The results range from 0.1g to 0.55g for 0.2 second spectral acceleration and 0.025g to 0.
