About this document
CRP and Ca×PO4 in Hemodialysis Patients by Devi Elora is a document available to read on EtoBox.
This study investigates the relationship between serum C-reactive protein (CRP) levels and the calcium-phosphate (Ca×PO4) product in stable hemodialysis patients. A total of 41 patients were analyzed, revealing a significant positive correlation between serum CRP and Ca×PO4 product, as well as an inverse correlation with patient age. The findings highlight the importance of monitoring hyperphosphatemia in hemodialysis patients due to its association with increased morbidity and mortality risks.
