The Supreme Court of the Philippines upheld the decision of the Court of Appeals that reinstated the decision of the Labor Arbiter. The Labor Arbiter had found that four employees of E.G. & I. Construction Corporation were illegally dismissed and awarded them various monetary claims. The National Labor Relations Commission had reversed this decision but the Court of Appeals reinstated the Labor Arbiter
