What is Gliclazide Sustained Release Bioavailability about?
The study evaluates the bioavailability and bioequivalence of two gliclazide sustained release tablets in 18 healthy male volunteers. Results indicated that the new test tablet (TT) showed similar pharmacokinetic parameters to the reference tablet (RT), with a relative bioavailability of 102.4% for single-dose and 101.2% for multiple-dose administration. The findings suggest that the new formulation is bioequivalent and has good sustained release properties.
