BASF Catalyst R 0-25 is designed for catalytic oxidation reactions. It can destroy a wide range of organic compounds in concentrations from 1 mg to 20 mg per liter. It is also useful for removing oxygen and hydrogen from gas streams. R 0-25 has high thermal stability due to its refractory alumina support and can operate up to 600°C. It has a lifetime of 5-10 years if poisons such as chlorides and sulfur are absent and regeneration is not required.
