About this document
Impact of SO3 on Cement Properties by Paknubk is a document available to read on EtoBox.
This document summarizes a study that investigated the influence of sulfur trioxide (SO3) content in cement clinker on the hydration heat and physical properties of Portland cement. Clinker samples with SO3 contents ranging from 1.2% to 2.4% and C3A (tricalcium aluminate) contents ranging from 10% to 14% were produced. Cement samples were then made by adding gypsum to the clinkers. The study found that increasing clinker SO3 content accelerated alite hydration but delayed aluminate hydrate reaction. Compres
