This course on Law and Economics taught by Prof. Dr. T.S. Somashekar at NLSIU acquaints students with the economic analysis of law using principles of microeconomics and its positive and normative implications. Over 15 weeks, it will cover topics such as the rational actor model, efficiency, markets, game theory, property rights, torts, crime and punishment from an economic perspective with application to areas of law.
