Loadstar Shipping Co. hired Romeo Mesano as bosun of one of its vessels. Mesano was investigated after bringing a TV and telescope from the vessel in January 1995. He submitted an explanation saying he intended to have the TV repaired. Loadstar then issued Mesano a disembarkation order terminating his employment effective February 28, 1995.
