About this document
NaCl in Reclaimed Asphalt Stabilization by Helena Leon is a document available to read on EtoBox.
This study evaluated the impact of sodium chloride (NaCl) on the compressive strength and durability of mixtures containing crushed reclaimed asphalt pavement (RAP), fly ash (FA), and carbide lime (L). Specimens were prepared with 75% RAP, 25% FA, and varying percentages of L (3-7%) and dry unit weights. Compressive strength was tested after 7 days of curing. Durability was evaluated by measuring mass loss after wet-dry cycles. Results showed that adding 1% NaCl nearly doubled compressive strength and reduc
