## Abstract Syntheses, Crystal Structures and Spectroscopic Properties of the Melem Adduct C~6~N~7~(NH~2~)~3~ · H~3~PO~4~ and the Melemium Salts (H~2~C~6~N~7~(NH~2~)~3~)SO~4~ · 2H~2~O and (HC~6~N~7~(NH~2~)~3~)ClO~4~ · H~2~O The melem adduct C~6~N~7~(NH~2~)~3~ · H~3~PO~4~ (1) and the melemium salts (H~2~C~6~N~7~(NH~2~)~3~)SO~4~ · 2H~2~O (2) and (HC~6~N~7~(NH~2~)~3~)ClO~4~ · H~2~O (3) were obtained by the reactionof melem, 2,6,10‐triamino‐__s__‐heptazine, C~6~N~7~(NH~2~)~3~ with the corresponding acids in aqueous solution. The crystal structures of these compounds were solved by single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction (1: __R__3__c__, Z = 6, __a__ = 1024.7(1), __c__ = 1848.1(4) pm; 2: __P__2~1~/__n__, Z = 4, __a__ = 690.3(1), __b__ = 2026.4(4), __c__ = 961.7(2) pm, β = 98.96(3)°; 3: $P{\bar 1}$, Z = 2, __a__ = 726.1(2), __b__ = 757.5(2), __c__ = 1207.0(2) pm, α = 71.76(3), β = 76.31(3), γ = 71.06(3)°). All three compounds have layer‐like structures consisting of melem (1) or melemium ions (2 and 3) and the acid (1) or acid anions (2 and 3), respectively.
