In the last 15 years there has been an increase in r e p o r t s of isolation of non-0:l Vibrio cholerae. Most of the isolates are o b t a i n e d from stool sampies, isolation f r o m extra-intestinal sites is sporadic. The following r e p o r t concerns two such cases.
