On the basis ofchemical and spectroscopic evidence, and identilkation of its sole hydrolysis product, its structure has been established as 2,6-dideoxy-/I?-D-ribo-hexopyranosyl 2,6-dideoxy-/3-D-ribo-hexopyranoside (B-Ddigitoxopyranosyl B-D-digitoxopyranoside).
