This document provides hardware and network recommendations for using Autodesk software in a production environment. It recommends purchasing computers with at least 16GB of RAM and an Intel i7 processor. 64-bit Windows 7 is the recommended operating system. Dual monitors of 1900x1200 resolution or larger are preferred. The network should use gigabit Ethernet cards, Cat5e or Cat6 cabling, and a gigabit switch to support production work.
